b4 u read, this post is genuinely hw i feel... frm d bottom of my heart

when we were 1st formed in january 2004, en route was unsure if Slyz was d right group to merge me esp when we never met or talked to each other... n i'm sure Slyz feels d same way.... If it wasn't for Phat n Taj hu knew each other in 2003, en_route@SLYZ would have never existed.... we merged just for the sake of wanting to join Danceworks 2004.... it was realli amazing hw fast we click.... n once we met.... we talked like we know each other 4 like a few yrs...

en_route consisted of Taj, Watie, Zaihar, Winnie n me.... Slyz consisted of Syuara, Phat, Norisa and Sarina.... For Danceworks, Sarina, Winnie n initially Taj could not make it... so there was just the 6 of us.... Bt afta much persuasion, Taj joined.... we practised almost evry single day... we practised real hard... We didn't have as much problems as we have nw....Bt it was all worth it.... We emerged as Champions in d Open Category....

But eversince we won Danceworks'04, things were never the same again... we never practised as hard as we used to... we avoided arguements so we just gave in to whoever has n idea... we tooked things so lightly....

We performed for at Ritz Carlton... we simply combined our Danceworks prelims n finals item... i saw NRA for the 1st time and i personally thot dey were horrendous... i thot to myself dat tis is a grp dat we will have no difficulty in beating.... BOY i was wrong!!! they improved tremendously!!!

Den we performed for d Street Festival... again winnie couldn't make it... Sarina on the other hand, learnt all our past choreographies n performed wif us... dat was probably d only time Sarina performed wif us.... Eh no... she performed wif us again 4 Chingay...tis yr....

Den has one performance 4 Tampiness East CC....

In between was Kreatif Ria 2004.... it was so last minute... we decided to join one day before the competition prelims n we practised a few hours b4 d prelims.....

Finals was abt 2 months after Street Fest....We made it to finals.... delighted yes... deserving, i don't tink so.... We started practise ard 2/3 weeks b4 finals... we decided to change d whole of our prelims item... tried to b different and added malay touches to our item.... bt it didn't work.... we were all hoping n tinking dat we did better den d other grps bt when d results were out.... jeng jeng jeng..... it crushed our morale big time....

we had ard 2/3 weeks of rest b4 practises for Suntec Comp started... Winnie finally could join us.... Taj couldn't due to personal reasons....Watie also couldn't make it due to exams... Phat went M.I.A....so we had to borrow Hafiz frm 45th Street.... we practised.... n practised.... n i knew we cldn't make it 4 finals bt i tried to tink positive.... bt my instincts were right... we didn't make it n NRA made it..... dey were deserving... seeing how much dey improved really impressed me bt being a competitor myself, i was sore.... hw i wished we could be like them.... cause i thot our progress d whole time was juz monotonous while other grps has improved..... Individually, we have improved bt as a grp......

den we had sum performances for Yellow Ribbon Project n Tampines East CC sumore....
soon the fasting month came n so did another competition....Mountbatten Street DAnce comp.... we fasted on d day of d comp.... we fasted on d days on practises.... actualli we onli practised after break of fast.... haha.... well we competed wif Lil Dopez n SDC n etc.... we thot we did good to win at least 2nd bt we lost to a grp we all agreed were lousy n ended up 3rd.... again we were dissapointed.....

den we had more performances.....n more performances....until we joined Chingay Talent Quest... collabo wif SDC.....was great fun..... den we had a competition call Da Groove... which was supposed to b held at Planet Paradigm.... or was it Queenz??? anyways, bottomline was dat we were conned... n so did a few other grps.... 4 tis comp, we sacrificed our nights n had overnight practises 4 d 1st time.... owel... at least we got our money back....tis was way back in march....

we had performances in between.... until june.... Marc Ecko Watches HipHop Dance Comp.... Me,Watie, Taj n Delly....Delly joined us 4 a lil while....strut our stuff... made it to finals.... remix prelims.... de next day same item, same ppl+sue... also qualified for finals.... den heard sumting shocking abt tis.... shattered our hopes even more.....

dats wen our big troubles began... ended up 4 wif just 4 ppl 4 remix finals(me, taj, watie n norisa).... haiz....

Nevertheless, i will treasure all these times i have spent wif all of you.... sum of us might still b dancing... sum of us won't.... bt i'm very glad to say dat even tho we're nt in d same grp anymore, we still meet up n talked juz liked we used to....n we even cheerd dem on wen dey joined wif another grp or watsoever..... i'm very happy bout dat...

u ppl have made a great impact in my life and i will never forget dat.... my life would hv been very much different n dull if u ppl didn't come n color it.... i will remember dat 4eva....

can i speak out ma opinion ppl!!!!i'm really disappointed after wat happened in de tagboard....who's bein childish and who's not comprimisin...ppl i dun haf a say much in de grup coz sooner or later i'll be out in de grup coz age is a gap between me and u guys.but i haf one thing to say...ppl why vent ur anger in de tagboard and not some where else??as in face to face???where is de professionalism we've been in dis line....our blog are for others to noe our updates...yesh...in terms of each other performances and stuffs but i'm sorry to say dis guys...dis aint de place for everyone to noe dat we're all not happy wit each other or having argumentatives issues.it's juz a small misunderstandings but u dun haf to tell de whole wide world to noe wat's been happenin in en_route@slyz .....tink before u guys tag....critism and arguements against each other is not allowed in our blog.it's so not adult.....u guys are grown up tink bout wat i said.....and pleaz heed it....u guys are mature enuff to noe wat's suppose to be told and not....but i guez if dis still continue...haf ur say.....to ma face but not in de blog!!!ppl...i'm outz...and oh ....

Yesh...here i come to save de day(blog u mean darlin...)sorry for all those not updated entry..well here goes......short performance at TPJC was a blast?!i dunno...but it ws gud and definitely better than de rez of de performances we did....i mean probably it's de age crowd...yong ppl who's into dance dance dance....well we were the opening act for dat particular event(it was a dance festival-comp,performance and an after party thingy)it was great...loads of cheerings and applauses...and honestly we finally came out wit new colour for our "costumes"-purple.....FUNKY!thank you for those who came to support us...u guys are de dopest!!!!muahkz...

ppl...we're back again......heyy...bout de recent post...well guez it wasn't a fraud....hopefully....da groove is back...yep but dis time roun it's at QUEENZ and bein brought forward on de 12th march 2005 from 5 till 8 pm.....it's kinda crappy coz if u guys noe how QUEENZ's dansfloor is..we're given a cupcake place to dans to....and worst still...it juz haf to happen on de same day where the breakdancin comp is gonna held...so meanin zai's not dancin wit us....pros and cons...so for all those who wants to catch dis comp...still 15 bucks at door...kinda a battle thing...there's 15 grups joinin divided into 3 sets wit 5 grups in it...2 will emerge to finals and 6 grupz will be competin on dat very same day....so...ppl pray for us hopefully we get into top 6 ya....dat's all i hope...
anywaise...yay!!!congrats to Taj...yep he scored well for de O's....gud for him and am so proud of him...now can dance more wit us ya!!!!

ok heres d deal... DA GROOVE which was supposed 2 be held last Sunday at Planet Paradigm was cancelled or postponed... de best part is dat every gt 2 noe tis onli 2 hrs b4 reporting time... FUCKING CHEEBAI rite?? Wad was d organizer tinking??? Word has it dat Planet Paradigm doesn't even noe about da comp..... so hu is tis organizer trying 2 kid?? u call urself a blardy events manager bt u can't even see to these kind of stuff... Eh bitch... tell u wad... even though we dancers compete against each other during comps, we r still frens outside of da comp.... so if we all feel dat u r trying 2 cheat us off our money, we will unite n report u 2 a police n take legal actions against u.... u probably have spent all dat money...... so where's da prize money in da ferst place? look gerlfren... u messed wif da wrong ppl... we ain't dat stupid.... Wah Lau!!!! So Long sia not updated!!!!! finally got time 2 update.... ok here's wats hapening in our group.... Watie is starting wif her attachment at SGH today.... Taj started werking at Swissotel a week ago.... actualli a few days.... Sue quit her job at Levi's n is now werking as a freelance designer.... Norisa is busy wif skool.... she actualli gt into trouble wif the skool.... wonder wat she did.....Winnie has been busy wif skool also.... Sarina... hhmmm... i'm not so sure... so bad sia me!!!! Zai.... he's loaded wif assignments n is th eonli one hu is not so busy these days.... 4 me n Phat, we have 2 slugg our guts out coz we r competin in tis business reality show on Suria....

Now about our upcomin events... we actualli gt performance 4 SANA at Sengkang i tink.... We wanted 2 join Funkamania but all were busy.... i m now at the production crews office coz i gt no cash 2 go hm.... padan muke Syamsinator!!! so dats a bout it 4 todays update...

Fifie S.T.D.... he's not 45th Street's new member..... he's grps names is S.T.D.... his grp took part in Danceworks'04.... Category 3:Seconday Schs... theirs was firsty heats at Suntec n the came in 2nd n made it 2 the Finals.... East View Seconday School(EVSS) is where they're from.... how we get 2 noe them? Sum of us were also from EVSS n they approach us 4 help..... n juz in case u're wondering... He's NOT part of 45th Street.... he's onli helping out juz like me..... Anyways 2 FAN... I'm Super Duper Flattered!!!... n curious... hu paid u 2 say all those things?? hehehe..... no la.. seriously thanx veri the much!!!

WHOA... it's been along time since we updated the blog..... k here it goes... it's gonna be a long one.... hehehe... firstly congratulations to both NRA groups, B.A.D, 4 makin it 2 the finals of Suntec Dance 2004.... eventhough we didn't get in, we had fun didn't we? hey.heyyy....de nite is drawin an end....met up de rez juz now..ya,kinda miss them.it was fun.a great day filled wit laughter.syam and taj were doin wati's hair(she wanted braids n extensions)wile de rez are all lazin roun...nor was tryin hard to keep up wit her studies but can't...she got a paper tmr......anywaise spent out time for quite a wile after which we all head back home...it's gonna be a week and a half before our rits carlton performane so i guez we all caught up wit practises nex week...till then dude.....chill

haluuz....i'm back...hehez...was quite shock wit de new templates and stuffs...anywaise dis piece was done by zaibo...kinda like ma perz layout...de ghetto purple...o well...hard werk comes to an end...appreciate his great help though...done a lot for de whole bloggy!!!!hehez...it's juz we came to a part where we really haf no idea how are de rez of de dancers are suppose to enjoy de bloggy...u noe write their shitt too...
